With the proper time management, any student can undertake the studies, working and other domestic engagements without too much pressure or stress. The skills of time management are the secret weapon to the daily success and survival in achieving your goals.
The students that are working in most cases have very many responsibilities that take up most of their time. In fact, by the time they are through with the work responsibilities and duties, they may be so exhausted such that they cannot concentrate on the studies. The whole affair of studying while working requires a lot of courage and determination.
The following are the most important time management tips for those students that are working.
Set goals that are attainable and prioritize them:
You need to set goals that are realistic and then stay focused by ensuring that you prioritize the most important things and the desired objectives. You must ensure that you schedule daily calluses that you can comfortably handle while still maintaining productivity at the workplace.
Create a system for support:
You should liaise with the other workmates that are also undertaking studies. Together, you can offer support and morale to each other.
Find work that is flexible
Because your goal is to pursue further studies, you need to find a job that has schedule which does not deviate very much that of your college or school where you are undertaking the studies.
For the mothers, leave your child at a reliable daycare
A child can cause great mishaps to your plan for work/study life. Ensure that you leave the child at a reliable daycare such that he/she can be taken care of properly during the period of work and study.
Draw a schedule of activities
You need to draw a schedule of activities that you are supposed to undertake from morning to evening and the time required of each.
Delegate some responsibilities
You should delegate some of the activities and responsibilities that take up most of your time in order to ensure that you have sufficient time for working and studying.
